Welcome to the Dorchester Youth Soccer website. DYS provides a safe and sportsmanlike atmosphere for the youth of Dorchester and surrounding Boston neighborhoods to have fun while learning and participating in the game of soccer. The success of DYS depends upon the collective efforts and cooperation of ALL participants.
DYS provides all house league players with team t-shirts and matching soccer socks. Each player is required to have black shorts, shin pads and soccer cleats to be eligible to play. All games are played at the Pope John Paul Park located in the Neponset section of Dorchester.
The 2013 Fall House League will begin on Sunday, September 8, 2013. Registration will open on May 1, 2013. Please check back then.
Clinic Division - This divsion is coed for the 4 and 5 year olds (born before September 1, 2009) These games are played on Sunday mornings from 9:00am - 10:00am. Teams will be limited to 12 players per roster. Teams will participate in drills for 30 minutes and scrimmage for 30 minutes. All games are played at PJP Park for 8 weeks. This division does not have practices.
Under 9 Division - This division is coed for the 6, 7 and 8 year olds (born before September 1, 2007). These games are played from 12:00noon - 4:00pm. Teams will be limited to 15 players per roster. Teams will scrimmage 7 x 7. All games are played at PJP Park for 8 weeks. This division participates in practices once a week, time and day to be determined by the coach.
Under 11 Division - This coed division is for the 9 and 10 year olds (born before September 1, 2004). These games are played from 11:30am - 3:00pm. Teams will be limited to 15 players per roster. Teams will scrimmage 8 x 8. All games are played at Park for 8 weeks. This division participates in practices once a week, time and day to be determined by the coach.
Under 15 Division - This coed division if for the 11, 12, 13 and 14 year olds (born before September 1, 1999.). These games are played from 9:15am - 1:00pm. Teams are limited to 22 players per roster. Teams will scrimmage 11 x 11. All games are played at PJP Park for 8 weeks. This division participates in practices once a week, time and day to be determined by the coach.
The Travel Program - Please check the Travel tab for more information. All players will be required to purchase team uniforms along with cleats and shin pads.
The Travel Program is for players from 9 to 18 years old. Players are assigned to teams according to gender, age and ability to play games against other towns. Home games are played at Pope John Paul Park. For questions about the Girls Travel Program, contact Phil Nguyen -

U12 born between 8/1/2000 and 7/31/2001 (+ 6th grade born in Aug 2001)
